Neue Wege seminars and travel is the leading provider of Yoga and Ayurveda tours in Europe. The motto “mind – healthy – naturally traveling” allows a departure into new worlds of experience and unknown countries, to more balance and mindfulness of one’s perception and action. In this context, the traditions and practice ways of the East are on focus.
Besides the traditional sales by catalogue, web presence should be strenghthened because of the expansion of various satellite sites for the major destinations. The expansion envisaged primarily a direct filling of the different satellite sites over an existing back-office system, the central control of all existing domains and sites, as well as the generation of high-quality content on blogs and trip reports.
Due to the special requirements, Typo3 was elected as a content management system, because it allows to manage the so-called multi-domain setups at one place. In addition, a blog system based on WordPress has been integrated according to corporate design specification. Besides the technical implementation in Typo3 and WordPress, a responsive design for mobile devices was created, which opened up additional market segments.
